Dearest Friends, Family, and Partners in Missions,
Warm hellos from David (Faouzi) and Linda Arzouni, your Assemblies of God missionaries serving in Bamako, Mali, West Africa. We wanted to write and give you an update on how things have been for us since we sent you our “cry for help” e-newsletter.
When David and I saw our work and personal accounts fall into the red for 3 consecutive months earlier this year, we were really shaken. (We explained in our earlier email the series of events—independent of our will — that brought us to this place.) So, we worked up the courage to ask for your prayers and your help. And you took us to heart and responded!
We know that several of you took the time to pray because many individuals and churches were able to send generous love offerings that have helped us pull into the black and have assured our work and personal funds, as well as all commitments for a full year at least. How can we thank you enough!
We are so relieved! And you are so awesome! And God is, as ever, our Source, our Provision, and our Hero!
We now know that we can stay longer and work harder here in Mali! We will continue to wrestle with the devil, encourage the saints, and help the Lord (to the best of our abilities) to build His church in the heart of the Sahara and West African Islam! With God’s help, we will (continue to) make both the Lord and you proud of us!

Do praise the Lord with us for His provision! And know that we are grateful for your prayerful ministry to us in our time of need. May the Lord bless you right there in your respective mission fields where He’s planted you.
Your partners in His service in Mali,
Linda and David (Faouzi) Arzouni
